Islamabad, A spirited rally filled the streets of Islamabad from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, marking Kashmir Solidarity Day with songs, chants, and a show of support for the Kashmiri people’s struggle for freedom. Led by Foreign Secretary Sairs Sajjad Qazi and spokesperson Muzammil Zahra Baloch, the rally saw participation from federal ministers, Foreign Office employees, and enthusiastic youths from Pakistan Sweet Homes.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the event was a powerful display of Pakistan’s commitment to the Kashmir cause. Information Minister Murtaza Solangi, addressing the participants, reiterated the nation’s unwavering support for Kashmir’s quest for self-determination. He reflected on the historical struggle against India’s annexation and the ongoing resistance against oppression.
Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, coordinator of the Free Jammu and Kashmir branch of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, highlighted the resilience of the Kashmiri people, despite the immense sacrifices made in their long-standing struggle for freedom. Saghar’s message emphasized that Kashmiris are not alone in their fight, underscoring the global significance of their cause.
The rally in Islamabad was not just a demonstration of solidarity but also a call to the international community to recognize and act on the protracted conflict in Kashmir, aiming to keep the issue at the forefront of global discourse.
