Pakistan Showcases Global Textile Innovations at Major South Asian Conference

Karachi: Pakistan recently hosted the 29th International Textile Exhibition and Conference, which is recognized as the largest of its kind in South Asia. The three-day event attracted a diverse array of participants, with over 500 companies from more than 20 countries, including those from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

The exhibition drew a significant number of trade visitors, totaling over 67,000 individuals. This considerable turnout led to business deals surpassing $550 million. Alongside these transactions, several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed, indicating a promising avenue for future investments within the region’s textile industry.

The conference served as a platform for showcasing the latest technologies in the textile sector, reflecting the industry’s ongoing evolution and its importance to the region’s economy. The event’s success underscores Pakistan’s role as a pivotal hub in the global textile landscape, fostering international partnerships and technological advancements.
