University Students Gain Insight into Islamabad Traffic Police’s Modern Operations


Islamabad: A delegation of university students explored the advanced systems and initiatives of the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) during an educational tour, gaining first-hand insights into the modern mechanisms employed for traffic management and public service.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the students visited the ITP Headquarters where they learned about the department’s digital operations, including the e-challan system and intelligent traffic monitoring. The visit highlighted the use of technology in traffic management and the role of various departments within the police force.



The students were briefed on the ITP’s efforts to streamline services, such as driving license issuance, through initiatives like the 24/7 Police Khidmat Marakaz and Digital Smart Vans. These initiatives aim to enhance accessibility for citizens, particularly in educational institutions.



Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan spoke to the students about the significance of traffic discipline and responsible driving. She urged them to advocate for road safety within their communities. The delegation expressed appreciation for the ITP’s modern approach and thanked the officers for the informative visit.
