Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Türkiye. During the conversation, President Erdogan extended his congratulations to the Prime Minister on Pakistan’s initiative to end hostilities in the Gulf region.

According to Press Information Department, President Erdogan lauded Prime Minister Sharif’s leadership in efforts to end the conflict in the Gulf, noting the significant toll it has taken on human lives and infrastructure. He expressed Türkiye’s support for Pakistan’s efforts to achieve peace and stability.

Prime Minister Sharif thanked the Turkish President for his encouragement and support. He reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to fostering peace and stability both within the region and globally.
