Turkish and Pakistani Officials Discuss Bilateral Defence Cooperation

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in discussions with Türkiye’s Minister of National Defence, Yasar Güler, focusing on defence cooperation between the two nations. The meeting occurred alongside the inaugural session of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee, formed under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions centered on enhancing bilateral defence ties and exploring matters of mutual interest. The establishment of the committee marks a significant step in fortifying the strategic partnership between Turkey and Pakistan, reflecting a mutual commitment to regional stability and security.
