Lahore, August 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):Spokesman to CM Punjab Fayyaz-ul-Hasan Chohan in a statement said that the news being aired on TV channels regarding Chairman PTI Imran Khan and the Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is baseless and contrary to facts. No pressure has been exerted on the CM Punjab or on the Chief Secretary for the appointment of any officer. He said that the news regarding exchange of harsh words between Imran Khan and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is absolutely wrong.
There is not any iota of truth in the news being aired on the TV channels with regard to the source. The news is the self-creation of the reporter and utterly violates the journalistic norms as well as ethics. The right to take legal action against the TV channels and the reporter for airing a fabricated news along with mutilating facts stands reserved.CM Pervaiz Elahi did all the appointments in the province according to law and merit. There is an excellent working relationship between PTI and PML-Q in Punjab, concluded Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan.
