Tarar Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthen Pak-Tajik Ties through Legal Cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Tajikistan Ambassador Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, accompanied by a delegation, met with Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar in Islamabad to discuss the enhancement of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on the longstanding relations between the two nations, emphasizing their shared cultural heritage and historical linkages. Both parties underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation in legal and institutional areas to further solidify these ties.

A significant proposal under discussion was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on mutual legal cooperation. This MoU aims to promote collaboration in legal affairs, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and improve institutional linkages between Pakistan and Tajikistan.

Law Minister Tarar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to deepening engagement with Tajikistan, particularly in the legal and judicial sectors, reflecting a mutual desire to fortify the partnership across all domains.
