Samahni, Under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar Haq, a Stabilization Pakistan rally was held from Peer Gully to Jhandi Chontra. The rally featured a large convoy of vehicles and enthusiastic participants who chanted slogans of “Long Live Pakistan” and “Pakistan Zindabad,” while carrying flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
According to Press Information Department – Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar Haq was greeted with fervent support at various stops along the route. The rally passed through several locations including Chadh, Ron, Bandi, Drauni, Chowki, Baroh Cross, Manana Sarsala, Chungi Pind, and Jattan, before arriving at Jundi Chontra via Sandua Cross. Throughout the journey, youth participants displayed their patriotism by tying ribbons of the Pakistan flag on their arms and raising slogans such as “Anwar Haq Zindabad.”
The Prime Minister received a warm welcome with flowers showered on him and drums beaten at Islamgarh. Welcome banners were displayed along the route, and a large number of officials and community members participated in the event. Notable attendees included Most Senior Minister Colonel (Retd) Waqar Noor, Information Minister Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah, and several government ministers and district council members.
The participants of the rally also carried Palestinian flags, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people. In his address, Prime Minister Haq emphasized the deep bond between Pakistan and Kashmir, highlighting the sacrifices made by Kashmiris for the love of Pakistan. He affirmed the unwavering commitment to this relationship and mentioned ongoing efforts to serve the people, including plans to establish a fund to address unemployment.
