ISLAMABAD: Following directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has implemented measures to enhance security across the capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Qazi Ali Raza conducted visits to various police pickets and duty points. During these visits, he met with police officers and reviewed the current procedures for checking individuals and vehicles. He directed officers to enhance the effectiveness of these checks to ensure the safety of citizens.

SSP Raza instructed officers to maintain vigilance, ensure thorough checks of suspicious individuals and vehicles, and promptly report any suspicious activities. He also stressed the importance of police officers interacting with the public in a respectful manner to foster trust between the community and the police.

The protection of citizens’ lives and property remains a priority for the Islamabad Police, and the measures are aimed at achieving this goal. Citizens are encouraged to cooperate with police efforts and report any suspicious activities via the police helpline “Pucar-15”.
