Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, conducted a review of professional training standards during a visit to the Capital Police College (CPC), focusing on the education of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officers.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP chaired a meeting with senior police officers, including DIG Law & Order Muhammad Ateeq Tahir and SSP Law & Order Captain (R) Hamza Humayun, to evaluate ongoing training programs, security measures, and the professional framework at the college. The review included discussions on the training curriculum, modern teaching methods, and the use of digital forensics and scientific investigation techniques.

During his visit, IGP Rizvi inspected training activities, interacted with trainee officers, and assessed their professional capabilities. He emphasized the importance of aligning the training curriculum with modern policing needs and strengthening security arrangements at the college.

The IGP directed that modern technology, intelligence-led policing, and human rights be integrated into training programs to prepare officers for evolving challenges. He highlighted the college’s vital role in enhancing law enforcement capabilities and fostering inter-agency cooperation and expertise exchange.
