ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza has conducted a thorough review of security arrangements at various Imambargahs in the city, focusing on the safety of mourners during Muharram-ul-Haram.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the visit was carried out under the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. Raza’s inspection aimed at reinforcing the security measures already in place, ensuring the protection of citizens during the holy month.

During his visit, Raza met with officers and police personnel assigned to security duties, scrutinized the security screening processes, and provided instructions to enhance existing protocols. He emphasized vigilance among officers, urging them to monitor suspicious activities and enforce security standard operating procedures rigorously.

Raza reiterated the importance of maintaining law and order and the safety of lives and property during the observance of Muharram-ul-Haram. He assured that all resources are being utilized to create a secure environment for the public.
