ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, convened a strategic meeting with officers from the Soan and Rural zones to address crime trends and operational tactics in the area.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included key figures such as SP Soan/Rural Zone Khuram Ashraf, along with SDPOs and SHOs from both zones. SSP Raza emphasized the necessity of intensifying efforts against criminal gangs and ensuring the swift apprehension of absconding members. He mandated the compilation and prompt action on data concerning those accused of property-related crimes.

Further directives were given to complete ongoing investigations with diligence and to expedite the submission of cases to courts. Officers were instructed to maintain vigilant oversight of previously released offenders, ensuring their immediate re-arrest upon any new offenses. SSP Raza highlighted the urgency of tackling vehicle and motorcycle theft, calling for the maximum arrest of proclaimed offenders. He reiterated that safeguarding citizens’ lives and property remains a top priority and that any negligence in this duty would not be tolerated.
