SSP Operations Islamabad Reviews Crime Strategies with Police Officials


ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, convened a meeting with zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs to evaluate ongoing crime trends and operational strategies. The meeting underscored the necessity of taking decisive action against criminal gangs and ensuring the apprehension of absconding suspects.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, during the meeting, SSP Raza instructed officers to compile data on individuals involved in property-related offenses and prioritize their arrests. He emphasized the importance of concluding ongoing investigations on merit and submitting challans to the relevant courts promptly. The officers were also directed to monitor previously released individuals involved in property crimes and re-arrest them if they reoffend.



Raza further highlighted the urgency of targeting individuals involved in vehicle and motorcycle thefts, calling for the maximum number of arrests of proclaimed offenders. He reiterated that safeguarding the lives and property of citizens remains the top priority, warning that negligence in these duties will not be tolerated.
