SSP Operations Islamabad Leads Crime Review Meeting with Sawan Zone Officers

Islamabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, presided over a significant crime review meeting with officers from the Sawan Zone. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the current law and order situation and strategize on improving the effectiveness of crime prevention measures.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included participation from SP Sawan Zone Khurram Ashraf, as well as relevant SDPOs and SHOs. Discussions focused on various aspects such as cases under investigation, arrest of proclaimed offenders, the patrolling system, and ongoing operations targeting land grabbers, drug dealers, illegal weapon holders, and other criminal elements.

SSP Raza emphasized the need for patrol units to enhance their effectiveness in preventing street crimes, theft, and other criminal activities. He urged officers to intensify efforts to arrest wanted suspects and ensure legal actions against offenders are carried out without bias. Additionally, he stressed the importance of completing investigations on merit and submitting strong evidence-backed challans to the courts.

Moreover, SSP Raza instructed SHOs to treat citizens with courtesy, addressing their complaints and resolving issues promptly. He reiterated a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and misconduct, emphasizing the police force’s commitment to protecting citizens’ lives and property.
