Islamabad: SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, conducted inspections of police help desks during visits to various markets and commercial areas, assessing public safety measures and facilities.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the focus of the visit was to evaluate the arrangements designed to assist the public and ensure their safety. During the inspections, Qazi Ali Raza emphasized the establishment of police help desks in all police station jurisdictions to provide guidance and timely assistance to citizens.
The initiative aims to facilitate the public with the deployment of police officers and personnel. Raza highlighted the deployment of lady police officers at these help desks to specifically address issues faced by women, ensuring they receive appropriate and prompt support.
Additionally, the help desks are tasked with taking action against professional beggars and ensuring immediate response to emergencies while providing necessary information to the public. Raza reiterated that safeguarding the lives and property of citizens remains the foremost priority of the Islamabad Police.
