SSP Operations Islamabad Directs Capital Patrol Unit to Enhance Patrolling and Response

ISLAMABAD: In a move to bolster public safety and crime prevention in the capital, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, held a comprehensive briefing with the officers of the Capital Patrol Unit. This initiative follows special directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the briefing focused on several key areas, including field policing, effective patrolling, immediate response, crime prevention, and citizen protection. SSP Operations instructed officers to ensure that all official vehicles within the Capital Patrol Unit remain fully functional and well-maintained, ready to be deployed at any time to respond to emergencies.

SSP Raza emphasized the necessity of regular inspections of vehicle fitness, equipment, and communication systems during patrols. He directed the officers to enhance their patrolling efforts across the city to effectively deter crime, reduce criminal activities, and safeguard citizens’ lives and property.

Further instructions were given to maintain vigilance over suspicious individuals, vehicles, and unusual activities, with a mandate for immediate action upon receiving any pertinent information. SSP Operations highlighted the important role of the Capital Patrol Unit in providing prompt assistance and ensuring a safe environment for the citizens of Islamabad.

The briefing concluded with a call for officers to perform their duties with dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to public service, reinforcing a strong police presence throughout the city.
