Islamabad Police Enhance Church Security Following Directives from IGP

ISLAMABAD: Following directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police have implemented security measures to ensure protection at churches in the federal capital. SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, actively engaged in field operations on Sunday, visiting several churches and monitoring security arrangements.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Raza reviewed the operational preparedness of police officers, inspected security plans, and issued instructions to strengthen security at entry and exit points, parking areas, and surroundings of churches. He emphasized the importance of public cooperation with police and urged reporting of suspicious activities to “Pucar-15.”

SSP Raza assured church administrations of the police’s commitment to safeguarding citizens and highlighted the need for police-public collaboration to maintain law and order. He reiterated the police’s dedication to ensuring safety and upholding the rule of law in Islamabad.
