ISLAMABAD: In an initiative aimed at addressing public concerns, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, organized an open court session at his office. This effort was in line with the directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, and part of an open-door policy to facilitate the immediate resolution of citizens’ issues.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the open court allowed citizens to present complaints concerning land encroachments and other pressing matters directly to the SSP. Qazi Ali Raza listened to these grievances and instructed relevant officers to pursue legal actions on the submitted applications within a designated timeframe, with a mandatory submission of a follow-up report.

During the session, the SSP Operations emphasized the Islamabad Police’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy on violence against women and children. He reiterated the priority of providing maximum relief to the public, asserting the importance of upholding the supremacy of the law. He assured that all citizens’ complaints would be addressed equitably and on merit, highlighting the protection of lives, property, and dignity as a fundamental concern.
