Islamabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, convened a meeting to assess the law and order situation in the city, focusing on efforts to combat drug dealers and other criminal activities.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting also examined the regular inspection of police stations, the implementation of the SIPS protocol, effective checks at police pickets, the patrolling system, and the progress of police stations under construction. Officers provided briefings on crime prevention strategies, the law and order situation, and ongoing operations in their respective areas.

SSP Raza instructed officers to intensify operations against drug dealers and criminal elements, stressing the need for strengthened field policing. He mandated regular inspections of all police stations, thorough checks of suspicious individuals and vehicles, heightened patrolling, and enhanced security at sensitive locations. He also urged the expedited completion of police stations under the SIPS protocol, ensuring that facilities for both citizens and police personnel meet prescribed standards.

Furthermore, SSP Raza emphasized the importance of resolving citizens’ complaints promptly, improving police services, and maintaining professional conduct with the public. He reiterated the commitment to protecting lives and property, upholding the rule of law, and maintaining peace and public order as the primary objectives of Islamabad Police, utilizing available resources to create a secure environment for citizens.
