Islamabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza conducted visits to the Imambargahs in Shah Allah Ditta and Shakrial to examine security measures and assess the routes for upcoming Muharram processions.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, during his inspection, SSP Operations Raza engaged with officers stationed on duty, instructing them to maintain vigilance and ensure comprehensive security arrangements throughout the period of Muharram-ul-Haram. He highlighted the necessity of strict monitoring along procession routes and the effective application of the security plan.

SSP Operations Raza also directed officers to sustain close collaboration with procession organizers, ensuring ongoing communication to swiftly address any security-related issues. He reinforced the importance of preparedness and timely reaction to any potential situations, reiterating the Islamabad Police’s commitment to uphold peace, public safety, and law and order during the significant religious observance of Muharram-ul-Haram.
