Islamabad Police Intensifies Search Operations with Over 460 Checks Conducted


ISLAMABAD: In a bid to enhance security and combat criminal activities, the Islamabad Police carried out extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital, resulting in over 460 individuals being checked. The operations were conducted under the guidance of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were led by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and closely monitored by the respective zonal SPs. The comprehensive searches involved checking 258 households, 27 hotels, 98 shops, 212 motorcycles, and 99 vehicles. Additionally, 28 individuals and 21 motorcycles deemed suspicious were taken to the police station for further verification.



The operations aim to clamp down on criminal elements and bolster security throughout the city. Islamabad Police is committed to taking indiscriminate action against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug dealers, as stated by SSP Operations Islamabad. These operations are part of a broader effort to maintain law and order in different areas of the district.
