SSP Operations Hosts Open Court to Address Public Complaints

Islamabad: In an effort to address public grievances efficiently, the SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, held an open court at his office, inviting citizens to present their issues directly. This initiative aligns with the special directives issued by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aiming to facilitate immediate resolution of citizens’ problems under an open door policy.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the open court primarily focused on complaints related to land encroachments among other concerns. SSP Operations listened to the grievances and directed relevant officers to take legal action based on the applications received, with a report to be submitted within a specified timeframe.

During the session, SSP Operations emphasized the zero-tolerance policy of Islamabad Police towards violence against women and children, stating that providing maximum relief to the public remains a top priority. He reiterated the commitment to uphold the supremacy of the law and assured that all citizens have equal rights, with applications being adjudicated on merit. Protecting citizens’ lives, property, and dignity continues to be of paramount importance, he added.
