Islamabad: DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq held a meeting to review the recruitment process for the Islamabad Police, focusing on transparency, merit, and management. The meeting emphasized the importance of adhering to prescribed rules and ensuring a secure environment for candidates.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included directives for officers to complete the recruitment process with full transparency and on merit. The DIG Security highlighted the need for timely arrangements and effective monitoring of each stage to maintain fairness.
Following the meeting, DIG Security Farooq visited F-9 Park to inspect the recruitment drive arrangements. He assessed facilities for candidates, security measures, and logistical preparations, instructing officers to maintain organization and transparency throughout the process. He stressed the importance of ensuring candidates’ convenience and security, warning against any negligence.
