ISLAMABAD: In a move aimed at addressing public grievances, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza conducted an open court session to listen to citizen complaints and ensure swift resolution. The session was held under the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, as part of an open door policy designed to enhance community engagement and problem-solving.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the open court allowed citizens to present issues related to land encroachments and other concerns. SSP Operations Raza listened to the complaints and directed relevant officers to take legal action on the applications, requiring reports on the actions taken within a specified timeframe.
During the session, SSP Operations highlighted the Islamabad Police’s commitment to a zero-tolerance stance on violence against women and children, emphasizing that providing relief to the public remains a top priority. He reiterated that all citizens would receive equal treatment, with decisions made based on merit. The protection of lives, property, and dignity was underscored as a fundamental responsibility of the police force.
