ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified its efforts to bolster the security of churches throughout the city.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza has actively been inspecting security arrangements at various churches. During these visits, he evaluated the performance of officers on duty and issued instructions to enhance the existing security measures. The inspections covered deployment at entry and exit points, parking areas, and surrounding vicinities, as well as reviewing the overall security strategy.

In discussions with church administrations, SSP Raza emphasized the importance of the police’s commitment to safeguarding all citizens, regardless of their religion. He urged public cooperation and encouraged reporting of any suspicious activity through the designated police channels. Additionally, he highlighted that the collaboration between the police and the community is essential for maintaining security and peace.

The Islamabad Police reiterated its dedication to upholding the safety and legal order in the city, prioritizing the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
