ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, convened a meeting with the Muharrars of all police stations to evaluate their performance and issue new directives aimed at enhancing public service. The meeting underscored the necessity for police personnel to treat every citizen visiting a police station with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Raza placed particular emphasis on prioritizing assistance for women, senior citizens, and other vulnerable members of society, ensuring their grievances are promptly addressed. SSP Raza reiterated that the primary responsibilities of the Islamabad Police include the protection of citizens’ lives and property, the delivery of timely justice, and the maintenance of law and order. He encouraged officers to uphold the department’s reputation through professionalism, integrity, and positive conduct.
SSP Raza further instructed all Muharrars to execute their duties with honesty and responsibility to bolster public confidence in the police force. He highlighted that officers demonstrating outstanding performance would be recognized with commendation certificates and incentives. Conversely, negligence, poor performance, or misconduct toward citizens would lead to strict departmental action. Any failure in protecting citizens or delivering timely justice, he reiterated, would be met with zero tolerance.
