Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand to Visit Pakistan for Bilateral Talks


Islamabad: Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand is set to arrive in Pakistan today for an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. This visit, which is her first to Pakistan since assuming office, comes at the invitation of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar.



According to Radio Pakistan, the visit will include bilateral talks between Ishaq Dar and Anita Anand, focusing on enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, education, and people-to-people exchanges. The discussions will also cover regional and global developments of mutual interest. In addition to the talks, Anand is scheduled to meet with the leadership of Pakistan during her visit.
