ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, presided over a meeting with City Zone officers to examine crime trends and discuss operational strategies. This meeting, attended by Station House Officers (SHOs) of the City Zone, aimed at enhancing law enforcement efforts.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Raza issued directives during the meeting, emphasizing the need to intensify efforts against criminal gangs and ensure the apprehension of their absconding members. He called for the immediate compilation of data on individuals involved in property-related crimes, underscoring the urgency of their arrests.
SSP Raza also instructed officers to conclude ongoing investigations with integrity and submit case challans to the courts promptly. Officers were told to maintain strict surveillance on individuals previously released for property crimes and to re-arrest them if they re-offend. Additionally, SSP Raza highlighted the importance of addressing vehicle and motorcycle thefts, urging the arrest of proclaimed offenders. He reiterated that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains a top priority, with no tolerance for negligence.
