Musadik Malik Underscores Commitment to Strengthening Pak-EU Trade Relations


ISLAMABAD: In a pivotal address at the High Level EU-Pakistan Business Forum, Musadik Masood Malik, Pakistan’s Minister for Climate Change, reaffirmed the government’s dedication to enhancing trade relations with the European Union, emphasizing the provision of high-quality facilities for foreign investors.



According to Radio Pakistan, Malik emphasized the EU’s commitment to investing over twenty million euros to support Small and Medium Enterprises in Pakistan. This investment is aimed at fostering innovation, creative development, and green stamping initiatives.



During his address, Malik highlighted Pakistan’s vulnerability to climate-induced disasters, revealing that recent floods have resulted in the tragic loss of 6,000 lives, injured or disabled 20,000 individuals, and displaced 40 million people. His remarks underscored the critical need for international cooperation and investment to mitigate the impacts of climate change and bolster economic resilience in the region.
