ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza has instructed law enforcement officers to tighten measures against criminal activities across the city. Following an operational review meeting, officers were directed to enhance intelligence-led operations targeting car and motorcycle theft, street and armed robberies, and other property crimes.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting assessed individual officer performance and reviewed the law and order situation, crime prevention strategies, and progress in ongoing investigations. SSP Raza urged officers to arrest proclaimed and habitual offenders promptly and to complete investigations with integrity. He also called for improved service delivery at police stations under the SIPS protocol, emphasizing professional conduct and swift resolution of public complaints.
The SSP stressed the importance of adopting modern policing techniques to prevent crime and enforce laws equitably. He instructed the use of all available resources to safeguard citizens’ lives and property, warning against negligence or unprofessional behavior in fulfilling duties.
