ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, has called for stringent measures to tackle crime by targeting members of criminal gangs. In a recent meeting with officers from the Industrial Area and Swan Zones, he emphasized the need for effective law enforcement and accountability.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Raza directed the officers to resolve pending investigations on merit and ensure the swift submission of cases to the courts. He stressed the importance of apprehending fugitive gang members and instructed officers to gather data on individuals released in property-related cases for continuous monitoring. The SSP also mandated the immediate re-arrest of any previously released suspects found reengaging in criminal activities.
Further directives included prioritizing the capture of suspects involved in vehicle and motorcycle thefts and intensifying operations against proclaimed offenders. SSP Raza reiterated that safeguarding citizens’ lives and property remains a primary focus and warned against any negligence in fulfilling these responsibilities.
