ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have successfully apprehended Fawad Khan, who is accused of murdering his elder brother, Shahzad Khan, using a pair of scissors in the jurisdiction of Sangjani Police Station, according to a press release from Islamabad Capital Police. The arrest was made in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa following an investigation led by Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and conducted by special police teams under the supervision of DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq.
The investigation team employed both technical and human intelligence to locate and capture the suspect within a short timeframe. The murder weapon was recovered, and initial findings suggest the crime resulted from a dispute between the brothers during breakfast. The investigation remains ongoing.
DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq emphasized that stringent legal measures will be pursued against individuals engaged in criminal activities. The accused will face charges based on strong evidence and be prosecuted accordingly.
