Special Assistant to Prime Minister Advocates for Kashmir Issue Resolution

ISLAMABAD, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, has called for increased advocacy towards resolving the Kashmir dispute. During a function in Islamabad, she spoke out against the alleged genocide being committed in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and the severe treatment of Kashmiris by India.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mullick described the IIOJK as the largest open prison in the world, accusing India of using unprecedented levels of torture in human history. She highlighted that rape is being used as a weapon of war against women, children, and men in the region. The Special Assistant also criticized India’s actions as transnational terrorism, claiming it has expanded to countries like Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States, where members of the Sikh community are allegedly facing difficulties. She added that minorities in India are not safe either.

Mullick also condemned the human rights violations by Israeli forces in Gaza, emphasizing that the issues of Kashmir and Palestine are among the world’s most pressing concerns that need resolution.
