ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has reiterated the government’s dedication to creating a cooperative and consultative atmosphere with the business community to advance sustainable and inclusive economic growth. This commitment was underscored during a meeting with Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), and Zahid Hussain, Chairman of the Policy Advisory Board, held in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister commended the ongoing engagement of the business community and recognized the FPCCI’s constructive contributions in providing policy input and facilitating dialogue between the government and the private sector. He stressed the need for continuous consultation to ensure that reforms are aligned with industry needs and promote long-term economic stability.
Muhammad Aurangzeb further highlighted that the government is focused on creating an environment conducive to investment, supporting enterprise growth, and enhancing overall economic resilience. Discussions during the meeting also revolved around the significance of a well-functioning financial system in meeting the business community’s needs and facilitating economic activities.
Both sides acknowledged the importance of sustained engagement and coordination to ensure the effective implementation of policy measures.
