Speakers raise Indian brutalities on IIOJK people 

Karachi, February 05, 2023 (PPI-OT):The speakers at a book-launching ceremony raised the Indian brutalities on the oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The book “Kashmir, the unfinished agenda of partition” by Lt Col (R) Syed Iftikhar Ahmad was launched at Karachi Art Council. Former Governor of Sindh Lt Gen Moin-ud-Din Haider was chief guest of the book launching ceremony while the speakers included former federal minister, Barrister Shahid Jamil, General Secretary of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Brig Shakeel Jaffery, Dr Nasreen Hassein, Munawar Zarif, Dr Sahar Gul and Ms Sabeeha Iftikhar.

The speakers said that the Indian troops had been killing innocent people on daily basis in IIOJK but the United Nations and other human rights organizations had become a mute spectator. They said that the people of Kashmir had been giving unprecedented sacrifices for the Kashmir cause which would definitely bring positive results. The speakers said that the morale of the Kashmiri people was high and would take their freedom movement to its logical conclusion at all costs. They said the day is not far when the oppressed people of Kashmir would get rid of Indian slavery.

They also appealed to the UN and other human rights organizations to take notice of the Indian atrocities in IIOJK and help resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the will of the Kashmiri people. Later, a painting exhibition, highlighting the brutalities of Indian troops on the innocent people of IIOJK, was also inaugurated.
