Speakers Call for Unity in Pakistan and Kashmir Movement


Muzaffarabad: Speakers at a seminar in Muzaffarabad emphasized the need to strengthen and unify their ranks to face the challenges confronting Pakistan and the Kashmir freedom movement.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the seminar, titled ‘Tehreek-e-Pakistan se Takmeel-e-Pakistan’, was organized by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter at Government Degree College, Garhi Dupatta, Muzaffarabad. The event was chaired by Advocate Parvez Shah, General Secretary of APHC-AJK, while Minister for Rehabilitation AJK, Javed Badhanvi, attended as the Chief Guest.



The seminar featured several speakers, including Hurriyat leaders Chaudhry Shaheen Iqbal, Mushtaq Islam, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Tanzir Iqbal, Professor Dr. Wajid Ali Awan, Professor Altaf Hussain, and Manzoor Iqbal Butt.



Speakers highlighted the importance of following the principles of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to contribute to Pakistan’s development and stability. They noted that Jinnah’s political struggle led to the creation of Pakistan, a significant homeland for Muslims worldwide.



Admiration was expressed for the nation’s armed forces, recognized for their sacrifices in protecting the country. The seminar aimed to educate the younger generation about the Pakistan movement and the courage of Quaid-e-Azam. This knowledge is expected to inspire youth to embrace unity, organization, and firm belief to meet the challenges facing the nation.



The seminar also stressed the importance of active participation in the Kashmir freedom movement and the eventual merger of the entire state with Pakistan.
