Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Takes Action Against Fake Appointment Letter Case


Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has taken action following the discovery of a fake appointment letter linked to the National Assembly Secretariat, allegedly used by Abdul Wajid from Ghotki. According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Wajid falsely claimed to be a Grade-17 employee, using the forged document to gain privileges and allegedly harass citizens.



The National Assembly Secretariat clarified that Wajid is not affiliated with them. On the Speaker’s instructions, the Acting Secretary of the National Assembly has requested legal proceedings against Wajid from the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency and the Inspector General of Sindh Police. The FIA has arrested Wajid and is investigating the forgery’s origins and those involved.



The Secretariat stressed the severity of using forged documents and urged public vigilance in verifying official documents with authorities to prevent misuse.
