Islamabad: On the eve of World Teacher’s Day, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the critical role of teachers in shaping responsible citizens and advancing the nation. Celebrating their significant contributions, he highlighted the necessity of acknowledging and respecting teachers to foster educational growth across Pakistan.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sadiq acknowledged the unique challenges teachers face while imparting wisdom and instilling ethics in students. He underscored the noble nature of the teaching profession and its pivotal role in guiding youth to discern right from wrong, ultimately affecting both national and global fabrics. He urged the nation to honor educators and recognize their essential role in society, stating that elevating teachers is crucial for promoting education.
The Deputy Speaker, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, also voiced his appreciation for teachers, referring to them as spiritual parents as per Islamic teachings. He praised their vital contributions to building a civilized society and credited them with the successes of their students. He echoed the commitment of the Parliament to ensure teachers are duly recognized and compensated.
