Srinagar: Political analysts and civil society activists have expressed concerns that the Indian media has become a propaganda tool for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), particularly in relation to Pakistan and the Kashmir conflict.
According to Kashmir Media Service, these analysts and activists, in their interviews and statements in Srinagar, highlighted that the Indian media is known for allegedly fabricating stories and spreading disinformation, with a specific focus on Pakistan.
They noted that the portrayal of Pakistan and Kashmir in the Indian media contravenes ethical journalism standards. They further asserted that India is purportedly using media, cyber warfare, and terrorism as hybrid tools to destabilize Pakistan and suppress the people of Kashmir.
