Speaker of National Assembly Honors Security Personnel Killed in Balochistan Anti-Terrorism Operations


Islamabad: Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq of the National Assembly has paid tribute to six security personnel who lost their lives in anti-terrorism operations in Balochistan’s Chagai and Pishin districts. The operations successfully neutralized 21 terrorists, highlighting the bravery and professionalism of the security forces, according to a press release from the National Assembly of Pakistan.



Speaker Sadiq expressed his condolences for the loss of life, which included two officers and a Customs official. He commended the fallen for their courage and commitment to national security, emphasizing their sacrifice for peace and the protection of fellow citizens. The speaker stated that the nation would hold the memory of these sacrifices in high esteem.



In his remarks, Speaker Sadiq prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and offered prayers for patience and strength to the families affected by the tragedy. He also praised the security forces for their role in preventing a terrorist attack on the Customs House and dismantling an illegal checkpoint on the Quetta-Taftan Highway.



Furthermore, Speaker Sadiq highlighted the security forces’ effectiveness against terrorist groups such as Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij. He reiterated the nation’s solidarity with its armed forces and law enforcement agencies, affirming a steadfast commitment to the fight against terrorism and the eradication of threats to national security.
