Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has conveyed his condolences following the passing of Shahbaz Bhatti, a senior journalist who was serving as the News Editor of The Nation in Islamabad.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sadiq acknowledged Bhatti’s significant contributions to journalism and expressed his sorrow over the loss. He extended his sympathies to Bhatti’s family, emphasizing solidarity with them during this challenging period. The Speaker offered prayers for Bhatti’s soul and wished for the family to find the strength to cope with their loss.
