Islamabad: SP Saddar/Industrial Area Zones Khalid Mehmood Awan conducted an open court session to address public grievances, following directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The session, held at the SP’s office, aimed to provide a platform for citizens to voice their concerns, particularly regarding land encroachments and other issues.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, attendees of the open court presented various complaints, which SP Awan addressed by instructing relevant officials to take legal action within a specified timeframe and to report back on compliance. SP Awan reiterated the Islamabad Police’s zero-tolerance policy against violence targeting women and children, and highlighted the force’s commitment to offering maximum relief to the public while upholding the rule of law.
SP Awan assured the public that all citizens are equal before the law and that all applications would be handled with impartiality. He stressed that ensuring the safety and dignity of citizens, as well as their property, is a primary responsibility of the Islamabad Police.
