SP Industrial Area Police Recover and Return Stolen Motorcycles to Owners


Islamabad: In a significant breakthrough, the Industrial Area Police Station successfully recovered 15 stolen motorcycles and returned them to their rightful owners. The operation, spearheaded by the Station House Officer of the Industrial Area Police Station, led to the arrest of two individuals identified as Irfan Sajid and Ali Murad, who were allegedly involved in multiple motorcycle thefts.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the crackdown was facilitated by the use of Safe City cameras and advanced technology, which helped trace the movements of the accused gang members. The recovered motorcycles, valued at millions of rupees, were handed back to the owners in a ceremony overseen by Superintendent of Police (SP) Industrial Area Zone, Hasnain Waris.



During the handover, SP Hasnain Waris emphasized the commitment of Islamabad Police to safeguard citizens’ lives and property, reaffirming their stance on taking stringent legal measures against criminal activities. He assured that the police will continue to take decisive action against those who threaten the security and assets of the public, reiterating that the well-being and protection of citizens remain the top priority for law enforcement in the city.
