Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori held a meeting with Somsak Suwansujrait, the Chief Ombudsman of Thailand and President of the International Ombudsman Institute Asia Region. The meeting was also attended by Somsak’s wife, Mrs. Nipa, the president of the Red Cross Chapter of Rayong province, Thailand.
According to Sindh Governor House, the meeting included discussions on the role of the ombudsman institution as a vital forum for public complaints against government departments. Governor Tesori highlighted the importance of ensuring justice delivery without any compensation and suggested the possibility of extending the ombudsman’s services. He also mentioned the ‘Bell of Hope’ installed in the Governor House, now digitized, to address people’s problems around the clock.
