Islamabad: In a significant dialogue at the Presidential House, Sindh Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah assured President Asif Ali Zardari of the Sindh government’s commitment to effectively leverage solar energy projects. The discussion also focused on broader cooperation to address the province’s challenges with the federal government.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Sindh, Minister Nasir Shah highlighted the provincial initiatives aimed at enhancing solar energy use, a vital step in combating the current energy crisis. President Zardari expressed continued support for resolving Sindh’s issues in collaboration with the federation, emphasizing the importance of sustainable energy solutions across all provinces.
During the meeting, Minister Shah also detailed the progress of the Planning and Development Department, underscoring its role in advancing Sindh’s infrastructure and energy sectors. President Zardari reiterated the need to increase dependence on solar energy, acknowledging its critical role in alleviating Pakistan’s energy shortages.
