SIFC Evaluates Health and Pharmaceutical Sector Reforms

ISLAMABAD: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) convened a meeting to assess ongoing reforms in the health and pharmaceutical sectors. The session focused on evaluating the progress of initiatives aimed at enhancing the health sector’s efficiency and export capabilities.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was led by the Federal Minister for National Health Services alongside the Director General of SIFC. Discussions centered on the implementation of the Drug Track and Trace System, a key measure to improve regulatory oversight and ensure the integrity of pharmaceutical products. The council also reviewed strategies to bolster the health sector’s export potential, aiming to expand its reach in international markets.
