Islamabad: The Shahzad Town police have successfully dismantled an organized criminal gang, arresting six individuals connected to a series of armed street robberies, shop thefts, and motorcycle thefts. The operation led to the recovery of 10 stolen motorcycles and various other stolen items.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the arrested suspects have been identified as Rehan, Allah Ditta, Hasnain, Akbar, Adil, and Ali. In addition to the motorcycles, the police recovered valuable mobile phones, cash, the motorcycle and weapon used in the crimes, and other stolen property linked to multiple criminal cases.
DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq confirmed the gang’s involvement in numerous incidents of street and shop robberies, as well as motorcycle theft. He mentioned that the recovered property is associated with several registered cases. Further investigations are underway, and police anticipate more significant disclosures and recoveries from the suspects. Tariq emphasized that the Islamabad Police are committed to conducting extensive operations against organized criminal gangs.
