ISLAMABAD: Senior police officers in Islamabad have taken proactive steps to ensure security measures are effectively enforced across the city. According to Islamabad Capital Police, the initiative follows directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, leading to visits by the SP Judicial Protection Unit Iqbal Khan and SP Aiwan-e-Sadr/Parliament House Tahir Mehmood Khan to various security checkpoints.
During these visits, the officers provided thorough briefings to police personnel, emphasizing the need for alertness and meticulous execution of duties. They reinforced that any negligence in security duty would not be tolerated and urged officers to be fully prepared to handle emergency situations.
The officers also instructed personnel to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities immediately. They highlighted the importance of strong coordination and communication among all officers and personnel on duty.
The Islamabad Police reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the safety of citizens and maintaining law and order in the federal capital as a primary objective.
