Floating Jetty Construction Underway at Korangi Fisheries Harbour

Islamabad: Construction is underway for an environmentally efficient floating jetty at the Korangi Fisheries Harbour Authority, aimed at enhancing the offloading process of export-quality fish catches. The project, which began recently, is set to be completed by the end of June this year at a cost of 120 million rupees.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, announced the project during a Korangi Fisheries Harbour Authority board meeting. He emphasized that the new jetty would ensure safer and more reliable access to the water, facilitating the smooth landing and unloading of fish catch.
