ISLAMABAD: Senior police officers in Islamabad have conducted a series of security duty checks as part of a directive from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The initiative involved visits by SP Judicial Protection Unit Iqbal Khan and SP Aiwan-e-Sadr/Parliament House Tahir Mehmood Khan to key locations in the city.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the officers provided briefings to the police personnel, emphasizing the importance of vigilance and professionalism in their duties. Personnel were instructed to maintain a high level of alertness and were warned that any negligence would not be tolerated. The officers highlighted the need for readiness to respond to any emergency situations.
The police officers also advised personnel to monitor suspicious activities closely and report any unusual situations to the relevant authorities immediately. Effective coordination and communication among all officers and personnel on duty were underscored as crucial elements in ensuring security.
The Islamabad Police affirmed their commitment to protecting the lives and property of citizens and maintaining law and order in the federal capital as top priorities.
